Full job description

The Woll is an award-winning restaurant and golf resort in the heart of the Scottish Borders. We are looking for an experienced Cook or Junior Chef to join our established kitchen team.

Working alongside our Head Chef, Second Chef and Commis Chef, you'll help deliver food across restaurant service, weddings, functions and special events.

This role would suit someone with previous kitchen experience who is confident preparing and serving fresh food in a busy environment. You may currently work as a Cook, Assistant Chef, Line Chef, Commis Chef or Junior Chef.

Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

We deliver everything from day-to-day dining to weddings, events, and popular themed nights.

Restaurant service (lunch & evening)

High-volume weekend service

Experience in a kitchen (1–2 years preferred)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work in a busy service environment
Team player with good communication skills

Ashkirk, Scottish Borders (must be able to commute or relocate) being able to drive helps due t our location but there are regular buses to the village
