About EOS Rooflights

EOS Rooflights Limited manufactures and supplies high-performance flat and pitched rooflights to trade customers and homeowners throughout the UK. We are based in Sidcup, Kent, and produce everything in-house, from thermally broken aluminium frames to fully insulated upstands.

We are growing our B2B presence, working with architects, main contractors, specialist glazing installers and fabricators.

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Assistant CAD Draughtsperson to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in computer-aided design with our Senior CAD Designer. The successful candidate will assist in creating detailed technical drawings and schematics, gaining practical experience with industry-standard CAD software.

Duties

Assist our senior CAD technician in preparing detailed drawings using software such as AutoCAD
Collaborate with our teams to ensure drawings meet specified standards and project requirements
Participate in review sessions to refine design accuracy and detail

Skills

Basic knowledge of CAD software including AutoCAD but training will be provided
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and customers
Eagerness to learn new software tools and industry practices
Ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy

This position provides a valuable pathway into the CAD drafting profession with hands-on experience supported by our Senior CAD Designer. The role is paid and offers an excellent foundation for a future career.

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
