Job Overview

We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver specialised in hotbox deliveries to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed lorry, ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on commercial driving and delivery operations to utilise their skills within a dynamic logistics environment.

Duties

Safely operate a Class 2 HGV lorry with a hotbox and flatbed configuration, adhering to all relevant road safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Load, secure, and deliver goods to specified locations, ensuring the integrity of the cargo throughout transit.
Navigate routes efficiently, maintaining punctuality and professionalism at all times.
Assist with the loading and unloading process as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs.
Maintain communication with the dispatch team regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed or hotbox vehicles.
Delivery driver experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and cargo handling.
Knowledge of road safety regulations relevant to HGV operations in the UK.
Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C).
Experience with driving flatbed vehicles and securing loads effectively is preferred.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple deliveries.

This role is ideal for dependable drivers who prioritise safety, punctuality, and professional service delivery within the logistics sector.

Pay: £200.00-£230.00 per day
