Brand New Site | Hospitality | Founding Team Member

We're looking for a General Assistant to join the founding team of a brand-new FIKA location in the heart of the City.

This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a new site from day one, working in a beautifully designed environment delivering an outstanding food and hospitality experience for a prestigious corporate client.

Serving pastries, snacks, fruit, breakfast options and hospitality refreshments, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for customers throughout the day.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

Setting up and maintaining food displays throughout the day
Preparing and replenishing breakfast and refreshment areas
Supporting hospitality and meeting room service
Washing and turning around crockery, glassware and cutlery
Restocking products and supplies
Collecting deliveries from the loading bay
Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation
Supporting the coffee bar operation when required
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Working closely with the Site Manager and Barista to deliver a seamless customer experience

As part of a small team, no two days will be exactly the same. You'll have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the operation and help shape the culture of a brand-new site.

A willingness to learn and get stuck in wherever needed
Pride in maintaining high standards

Previous hospitality, catering, café or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential. We can teach the skills – we're looking for the right attitude and personality.
