Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-Time Bar Staff member to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, well-organised, and possess a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time work, with opportunities to develop skills within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct delivery
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the till system
Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation
Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas when required
Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote ongoing patronage
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desirable but not mandatory
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good understanding of basic maths for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
A positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service excellence
Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol legally
