Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a variety of environments. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with practical skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks effectively.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
Assist with carpentry tasks or other related duties as required on-site.
Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting materials or equipment.
Maintain organised work areas and keep accurate records of work performed.

Skills

Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
Knowledge of carpentry is advantageous for certain projects.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Experience in commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials between sites.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
