Overview

Join our dynamic logistics team as a Transport Administrator, where your organizational skills and attention to detail will keep our transportation operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will coordinate shipments, manage transportation data, and communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners and customers to ensure timely delivery Your proactive approach will help streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and support the overall success of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate vehicle movements and deliveries.
Maintain accurate transport records, logs, and databases.
Process delivery notes and transport documentation.
Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and any operational changes.
Track deliveries and resolve any transport-related issues or delays.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health and safety standards, and company procedures.
Respond to customer enquiries regarding deliveries and transport services.
Support the transport manager with general administrative duties.

Requirements:

Previous experience in an administrative or logistics role is essential.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and transport management systems.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of transport and logistics regulations
