If you’re the type of salesperson who picks up the phone, finds the decision-maker, starts the conversation and creates the opportunity, this could be for you.

Electro UK is growing, and we’re looking for a confident, commercially driven New Business Sales professional to win new customers and build our service and maintenance business across the UK.

This is not a role for someone waiting for warm leads to land in their inbox.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of cold calling, lead generation, prospecting and getting through to people who weren’t expecting your call.

If you can turn a cold conversation into a meeting, a meeting into a quote and a quote into a contract, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

Your main job is simple: find new business and win it.

You’ll:

Hunt down new prospects using cold calling, LinkedIn, email, networking and your own research
Build your own pipeline rather than relying on inbound enquiries
Pick up the phone and confidently speak to business owners, facilities managers, property managers and other decision-makers
Identify opportunities for service and maintenance contracts
Understand customer requirements and match them to Electro UK’s solutions
Arrange surveys, site visits and technical support where required
Prepare and follow up quotations
Negotiate and close new maintenance contracts
Keep prospects moving through the sales process
Build relationships that generate repeat and long-term business
Keep accurate records of calls, leads, opportunities, quotes and results

Who are we looking for?

We’re interested in salespeople who can sell, particularly those who are comfortable generating business over the phone.

You might already be working in:

B2B telesales
Business development
New business sales
Service or maintenance sales
Commercial maintenance
A similar target-driven sales environment

Industry experience is useful, but sales ability matters more.

You need to be:

Confident on the phone
Comfortable with cold calling and rejection
Persistent without being pushy
Naturally curious and good at asking questions
Commercially minded and motivated by results
Comfortable finding your own leads and doing your own research
Able to speak confidently to decision-makers
Organised enough to manage your own pipeline and follow-ups
Competitive, resilient and hungry for the next opportunity

Most importantly, you need to be comfortable picking up the phone and making things happen.
