Now we're looking for a Finance Manager who can grow with us.

The Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional finance role.

You'll be responsible for helping shape the financial future of a growing group of healthcare companies, providing meaningful financial insight that supports strategic decision-making across the business.

Working closely with the CEO, Directors and Senior Leadership Team, you'll oversee day-to-day finance operations while continually improving processes, controls and reporting.

You'll be someone who enjoys solving problems, identifying efficiencies and turning financial data into commercial insight.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As Finance Manager, you will:

Produce accurate monthly management accounts across multiple group companies.
Prepare financial reports.
Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
Monitor financial performance and provide meaningful analysis to support business decisions.
Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations and banking.
Oversee payroll
Ensure VAT returns, statutory reporting and financial compliance are completed accurately and on time.
Support year-end accounts and external auditors.
Develop financial controls, systems and reporting processes.
Work closely with operational managers to improve financial performance.
Support acquisitions, new service mobilisation and future business growth.
Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

Systems You'll Use

You'll play a key role in managing and developing our finance and people systems, including:

Xero – Financial accounting and reporting
BrightHR – HR administration and workforce management
Blip – Staff time and attendance management

Experience using these systems is advantageous, although training will be provided where required.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial awareness and excellent organisational skills.

You'll ideally have:

Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or Senior Finance Officer.
A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT Level 4 or equivalent) or be qualified by experience.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and management accounts.
Experience using cloud-based accounting software, ideally Xero.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workloads.
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and adding value.

Experience within healthcare, social care or multi-site organisations would be advantageous but is not essential.
