Job description

Tyre Fitter required at HiQ Autocare in Lanark

You will be working for a family company established in Lanark for over twenty years who pride themselves on keeping a happy working environment and long term job retention.

Your main duties would be to replace worn and damaged tyres. Working in our fast-fit centre alongside motor vehicle technicians

You would:

Check tyres for defects
Replace or repair faulty tyres or parts
Balance / Work to re-align wheels
Repair punctures, where possible
Advise customers about keeping tyres and exhausts in good condition.
General Workshop cleaning/tidying
Good communication skills
Stock checks / Stock organisation
Vehicle Safety checks

You would Need to be able to work well alone and as part of a team. Great time keeping required, Driving Licence would also be useful but not essential. Experience would be essential***
