Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter on a CIS basis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. This role is for 6 months and will be painting rooms in a hotel at Whitley Bay. Drivers license needed. This will be based in Whitley Bay, The royal hotel.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Ensure high-quality finishes by following specifications and adhering to safety standards
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project requirements and timelines
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Assist in the planning and execution of painting projects from start to finish

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting is preferred
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
A valid driving licence is required for travel to job sites
Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
Drivers License
