Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in coffee preparation and customer engagement, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle customer orders efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other relevant equipment safely and correctly.
Ensure the cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
Manage cash register operations accurately, including taking payments and giving change.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
Maintain a welcoming environment by engaging positively with customers and addressing any enquiries or concerns promptly.

Skills

Proven Barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure hygienic practices are maintained at all times.
Experience in serving customers with excellent interpersonal skills.
Basic food preparation skills for handling snacks or light food items when required.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising service quality.
Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about coffee culture, enjoy working in dynamic environments, and thrive on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Pay: £12.21-£16.74 per hour
