Sales Manager / Business Development Manager – Fire Dampers & Duct Compliance (London)

Location: London & South East
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Company Car/Allowance

Role: Drive new business and develop key client relationships across London and the South East.
Company: A leading specialist contractor delivering Fire Damper Inspections, Remedial Works, Duct Cleaning and Ventilation Hygiene Compliance.
Clients: Facilities Management Companies, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Universities, Main Contractors and Commercial Property Owners.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join a growing compliance contractor covering London and the South East.

You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships and growing existing accounts within the fire and ventilation compliance sector.

This is a field-based role with the autonomy to manage your own diary while being supported by an experienced operations team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities throughout London and the South East.
Promote Fire Damper Inspections, Fire Damper Remedial Works, Ventilation Hygiene, TR19® Grease Compliance and Indoor Air Quality services.
Build long-term relationships with Facilities Management companies, building owners and contractors.
Attend client meetings, surveys and networking events.
Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals.
Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
Build and maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM software.
Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
Stay up to date with industry standards including HTM 03-01, TR19®, BS 9999 and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations.

What We're Looking ForEssential

Proven experience in Business Development or Account Management.
Strong background in B2B sales.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

Experience selling Fire Damper, HVAC, Ductwork or Building Compliance services.
Existing relationships within the FM sector.
Knowledge of Fire Safety Compliance or Ventilation Hygiene.
Experience working with public sector or commercial clients.
