Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our town centre hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to lead a dedicated team and uphold the highest standards of service and organisational excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services
Lead and supervise staff to ensure efficient and professional service delivery
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and optimise performance
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
Coordinate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and maximise occupancy rates
Recruit, train, and develop team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local community partners
Monitor industry trends to implement innovative practices that improve overall hotel performance

Requirements

Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality sector
Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing diverse teams
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele
Knowledge of human resources practices including recruitment, training, and staff development
Exceptional guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and drive continuous improvement
Familiarity with hotel operations systems and software applications
Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or related fields are preferred
