Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our dynamic mobile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on creating high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily for service, setting up mobile van with all ingredients for service in evening. Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively during meal preparation
Assist in the development of new pizza recipes and menu items
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality and safety
Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and friendly service
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food safety standards

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
Hours are 2pm to 10pm daily 5 days Per week Tuesday to Saturday.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, especially related to pizza making and meal preparation
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
A positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and passion for delivering quality food
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
