Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Unit Administrator to provide administrative support to our manufacturing unit and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting a team, and has strong attention to detail. This position is based on site.

Duties

Provide general administrative support to the unit and management team
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items
Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and data management
Handle correspondence, phone calls, and internal queries professionally
Support reporting activities by preparing documents, spreadsheets, and summaries
Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and day-to-day operational tasks
Liaise with colleagues, vendors, and other departments as required
Ensure administrative processes are followed efficiently and accurately

Skills

Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
Professional, approachable, and team-oriented attitude

Desirable

Experience supporting a team or business unit
Familiarity with reporting, document control, or scheduling systems
Knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, or similar platforms

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
