Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where guest satisfaction is our top priority. Previous restaurant experience is desirable, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and enjoy providing outstanding service.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Follow food safety procedures and hygiene standards at all times
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions
Experience in guest services with a friendly, professional demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work during peak hours and weekends as required
