Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Tutor to support learners of various ages and backgrounds. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and help students improve their language skills. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learners’ educational journeys while developing your teaching expertise.

Duties

Plan and deliver customised English lessons tailored to individual student needs and levels
Support students in developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to maintain student engagement
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
Create a supportive environment that encourages confidence and active participation
Adapt teaching strategies for students with special educational needs or learning difficulties
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and lesson plans
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student development when appropriate

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English or related subjects
Ability to work effectively with children and young learners
Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
Organised with strong planning skills to develop engaging lesson plans
Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
Ability to motivate students and build rapport quickly

This position is ideal for passionate educators eager to support learners in achieving their language goals through engaging and personalised instruction.

Pay: £18.34-£37.94 per hour
