Full job description

We are looking for a caring, organised and reliable Care Coordinator to join our friendly team providing high-quality domiciliary and living care services in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas.

This is a part-time position for 2 days per week, with the opportunity for the hours to increase in the future as the company continues to grow.

About the Role

As a Care Coordinator, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our care services. You will work closely with our care team, clients and their families to help ensure that our clients receive safe, consistent and person-centred care.

Your responsibilities may include:

Coordinating care schedules and rotas
Liaising with care staff, clients and families
Responding to queries and helping resolve day-to-day issues
Supporting the management team with the organisation of care services
Monitoring care delivery and helping maintain high standards
Communicating with staff to ensure shifts are appropriately covered
Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
Supporting the recruitment, induction and ongoing support of care staff
Ensuring clients' needs and preferences are communicated effectively to the care team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Caring, compassionate and approachable
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Confident communicating with clients, families and care staff
Reliable and able to work independently
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities
A good team player with a positive attitude
Experienced within the care sector or familiar with care coordination (desirable)

Previous experience in a care coordination, senior care, scheduling or similar role would be an advantage, but we are happy to consider candidates with the right attitude, skills and experience.
