We are looking for a passionate, caring, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic early years professional who is committed to providing outstanding care and education while helping every child reach their full potential.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Building positive, trusting relationships with children, their families, and colleagues.
Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality care and education.
Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.
Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals where appropriate to ensure the best outcomes for children.
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Taking part in continuous professional development (CPD) and undertaking additional training to support your professional growth and career progression.

Safeguarding children is our highest priority.

The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures, with the ability to recognise concerns, respond appropriately, and contribute to creating a safe environment for every child. You must understand your responsibilities in protecting children and promoting their welfare at all times.

A good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential, along with the ability to apply this knowledge confidently within everyday practice.

Essential Requirements

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and child protection procedures.
GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, enthusiastic, and professional approach.
A commitment to ongoing learning, professional development, and continuous improvement.

Desirable Requirements

Registered with the DBS Update Service.
Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Previous experience working within an early years setting.
