Full job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Administrator to support a wide range of business functions across our construction company. The successful candidate will manage various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth running of admin systems and efficient day-to-day office activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing vehicle admin—orders, repairs, insurance, MOTs, fuel cards, mileage etc.
Managing tech admin – mobiles, printers, laptops etc.
Managing Equipment - office equipment and fire equipment, and site equipment such as calibration of tools
Coordinating training bookings, grant claims, and tracking completions
Keeping our Business Management System (BMS) up to date
Receive, screen, and direct phone calls in a professional manner, ensuring they reach the appropriate staff members
Maintain courteous and professional internal and external communication.
Supporting general office admin tasks and internal processes

Additional Duties:

This role may require the candidate to undertake other reasonable duties within their capabilities as directed by the Company to meet the business's needs.

Requirements:

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Great attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and learning new systems
