Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin Assistant to provide vital administrative support within our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, managing correspondence, and assisting with various clerical tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a professional environment, utilising a range of software tools and communication channels.

Duties

Manage and maintain schedules,
Prepare and edit documents using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Handle correspondence via email and phone, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Update and maintain data records using excel and accounts based software systems
Assist with accounts administration tasks, including producing invoices and job cost reports from specialist software (full training provided).
Organise files, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to enquiries.
Utilise organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to facilitate smooth workflow.

Requirements

Proven administrative experience or similar role within a professional setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience working with accounting software would be useful, but not essential .
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Good computer literacy and IT skills to troubleshoot basic issues.
Demonstrated time management abilities to meet deadlines consistently.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a friendly working environment.
