Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Part-time Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with a focus on excellent driving and communication skills. The ideal applicant will possess relevant experience in delivery driving and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans or lorries, to deliver goods to various locations.
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
Assist with loading and unloading items as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Report any vehicle faults or accidents promptly to management.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, ideally with delivery driver experience.
Mechanical knowledge of vehicles to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving, such as a <PERSON> driver licence or equivalent.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Experience with commercial driving vehicles and understanding of safety protocols.
Knowledge of local routes and navigation systems is advantageous. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and delivering excellent service, seeking flexible part-time work within a professional environment.
