Full job description

Salary: £36,800.00 (£32,000.00 + 15% shift)

Hours: 2 week rotating shift pattern

Week 1: Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00
Week 2: Monday - Thursday 13:00-22:00, Friday 13:00-17:00

Purpose of the role:

To control product quality throughout the business, ensuring that the organisation meets its customers’ expectations.

To advise on best measurement techniques and practices and promote a continuous improvement ethos within the business. Act as an independent authority on all quality related issues.

Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Conduct 1st off and final inspection activities.
Complete First Article inspections reports.
Carry out product quality audits to ensure adherence to agreed plans and procedures.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
Inspection of bought out goods where required.
To be able to use and program all relevant CMM Measuring Equipment.

Experience:

A minimum of two years previous experience in a similar position.
Effective and demonstrable people management skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

A “can-do” attitude to ensure delivery of the highest both internal and external stakeholders.
Detail-orientated with a high level of attention to detail.
Fast-paced, astute and proactive.
Proactively contribute to creating a strong team atmosphere
Holds the ability to work unsupervised and to perform under pressure.
Strong at setting objectives and reaching these through careful planning.
A flexible approach and willingness to work additional hours in order to meet the needs of busy, high-pressure business.

Pay: £36,800.00 per year
