Summary

As a Bank Support Worker at Stella Maris Care Home and Convent, you will play a vital role in assisting our residents with daily activities. Your contributions will be to help create a supportive atmosphere that promotes dignity, respect, and independence.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Take an active part in the smooth running of the convent and care home by working to the high standards we hold.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene within the convent
Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation in community events.

Requirements

Experience as a support worker is preferred.
Registered with Social Care Wales preferred
Minimum qualification - Level 2 QCF in Health & Social Care
A strong work ethic, reliable and conscientious.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
Ability to interact with empathy and patience.
A caring attitude towards elderly individuals, particularly those with dementia.
