Are you an experienced and passionate early years professional looking for your next leadership opportunity?

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Preschool Room Leader to join our friendly farm-style nursery. Set in a beautiful rural environment, we provide children with endless opportunities to explore nature, enjoy outdoor learning, and develop through play.

As our Preschool Room Leader, you will lead a dedicated team in creating a warm, inspiring and engaging environment where children aged 3–5 years can thrive. You'll play a key role in planning exciting learning experiences, supporting children's development, and building positive relationships with families.

What you'll be doing

Leading and inspiring the preschool team to deliver outstanding care and education.
Planning and implementing engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
Creating exciting outdoor learning opportunities that make the most of our farm environment.
Monitoring children's learning and development and maintaining high-quality observations and assessments.
Building strong partnerships with parents and carers.
Supporting, mentoring and developing team members.
Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.

What we're looking for

A full and relevant Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (or above).
Previous experience working within an early years setting.
Experience leading or supervising a team is desirable.
A sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A positive, proactive and nurturing approach.
A genuine passion for outdoor learning and helping children develop confidence through exploration.
