Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet client expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant hospitality or corporate environment, delivering memorable experiences for guests and clients alike. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Duties

Coordinate all aspects of event planning from initial concept through to completion, including venue selection, catering arrangements, décor, and entertainment.
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored event solutions.
Manage budgets effectively, ensuring cost control whilst maximising guest satisfaction.
Upsell additional services or products to enhance the event experience and increase revenue opportunities.
Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are executed according to plan.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services.
Handle guest services during events, resolving any issues promptly to maintain high standards of hospitality.
Utilise excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple events concurrently.
Maintain detailed organisational records and documentation related to each event.

Experience

Proven experience in event planning or coordination within the hospitality or hotel industry is highly desirable.
Experience working in restaurants or fundraising events will be considered advantageous.
Strong communication skills are essential for liaising effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
Previous experience demonstrating excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently is required.
Familiarity with upselling techniques and guest service standards will be beneficial in enhancing the overall event experience. This role offers an engaging environment where organisational talent and hospitality expertise are valued highly. Pay: £24,420.00-£60,000.00 per year
