Full job description

Overview

Due to the growth of the business we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking employee to join our warehouse team. This role will help assist with the picking and checking of stock as well as supporting our daily goods in/out department where needed. Other duties will include general housekeeping and quality control of stock

Responsibilities

Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as needed.
Assist with goods in/goods out to ensure that customers receive their orders well packaged and picked correctly.
Load and unload materials from lorries using a forklift and by hand, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Operate forklifts safely when necessary, adhering to all safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow throughout the warehouse.
Assisting the tyre fitting team with their duties by picking wheels and tyres.
Working with your team leader and/or supervisor to make sure that customers are receiving their orders on time and accurately.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
A valid FLT counterbalance license is essential
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
