Lettings Administrator

Wellington, Telford

£26,500 - £27,000 starting salary (dependent on experience)

Full-time

Fixed Term 12 Month Maternity Cover, with the potential for a permanent position with the company thereafter

About Us

Coleman Estates is a leading independent estate and letting agency based in Wellington, Shropshire.

According to Rightmove statistics, Coleman Estates has been the top letting agent in Telford for the past seven years. We have won multiple awards during this time and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with our landlords and tenants.

We are looking for a professional, organised and customer-focused Property Administrator to join our team. The role is initially for a 12 month period to commence September 2026, with potential for a permanent role with the company thereafter.

This is an excellent opportunity for strong administrator who enjoys working in a busy office environment and supporting the day-to-day running of a successful lettings and property management department.

Key Responsibilities

Organising periodic inspections and booking with tenants
Sending inspection reports to landlords
Organising renewals for legal compliance e.g. gas certificates, EICRs and EPCs
Organise PAT testing and Legionella Risk Assessments where required
Formal rent arrears correspondence
Sending quotes for maintenance & repairs to landlords
Chasing contractors for open works order progress
Completing works orders on CRM on receipt of invoice
Liaising with utility companies regarding change of tenants and outstanding payments
Send confirmation of check-out letters to landlords and tenants
Book check-out inspections for inventory clerk
Deposit return correspondence

Skills & Experience

Professional, confident and friendly manner
Strong customer service and communication skills
Previous experience in the property industry advantageous but not essential
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and multitask
Excellent attention to detail with a high standard of written English (
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Positive attitude and proactive approach
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Salary & Hours

Starting salary dependent on relevant industry experience
Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
A minimum of one Saturday per month (9:30am – 1:30pm) will be required on a rota basis. A Friday afternoon will be provided in lieu of the Saturday worked.
