Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tradesman / Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various trades and be capable of performing a range of manual tasks on-site. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilising a variety of tools and techniques, in a dynamic and supportive environment. Applicants should be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to develop their skills further.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation and organisation of work sites, including setting up scaffolding and safety barriers
Using hand tools and power tools to carry out tasks such as bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding
Supporting skilled tradespeople with their specialised work by providing assistance as needed
Cutting, shaping, and installing building materials according to project specifications
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and safe throughout the day
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during construction activities
Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site

Qualifications

Proven experience in trades such as bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing or welding is preferred
Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks
Ability to read technical drawings or plans is advantageous
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour over extended periods
Strong commitment to safety standards on-site
Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., CSCS card) are desirable but not essential
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the trades industry

Pay: £130.00-£180.00 per day
