Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and creative Digital Marketing and Social Media Assistant to support our marketing team. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about digital communications, public relations, and social media management to gain valuable experience. The successful candidate will assist in developing engaging content, managing online presence, and enhancing brand visibility across various digital platforms. A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills are essential to thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and LinkedIn.
Monitor social media accounts to engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction.
Support the development of digital marketing campaigns aligned with organisational goals.
Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all online platforms.
Track and analyse social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements.
Contribute to public relations activities by drafting press releases and coordinating media outreach efforts.
Conduct research on current social media trends and best practices to optimise content strategies.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Previous experience or strong interest in social media management and digital marketing is desirable.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.
Knowledge of public relations principles and experience in managing online communities is advantageous.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and branding consistency.
Basic understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics or platform-specific insights is beneficial.
A positive attitude, proactive approach, and eagerness to learn are essential qualities for success in this role.

Pay: £26,500.00 per year
