Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in commercial cleaning, preferably in a hotel environment, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to meet established cleanliness standards.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the premises.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Interact with guests courteously and professionally, addressing any requests or concerns they may have.
Assist in laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organised for efficient use.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A willingness to assist with additional tasks such as cooking when required would be advantageous.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
