Membership Sales Consultant – Apex Gyms, London

£31,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Apex Gyms is proud to be recognised as South London’s favourite gym, offering flexible memberships, unlimited classes, a high-quality environment, and a judgment-free space for everyone to train.

We are looking for a driven, ambitious Membership Sales Consultant who thrives in a target-focused environment and is motivated by earning potential, progression and performance.

This is a sales-focused role suited to someone confident in converting leads, building relationships and consistently hitting targets. If you are competitive, commercially minded and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Membership Sales Consultant at Apex Gyms, you’ll be a key driver of growth and the public face of the gym in your local area. Your responsibilities will include:

Generating and managing new leads through outreach, referrals, local partnerships and community engagement.
Building rapport quickly and confidently handling objections to close sales.
Consistently achieving and exceeding membership sales targets.
Delivering a high-energy, professional experience for every prospective member.
Supporting social media and local marketing initiatives to drive awareness and lead generation.
Supporting daily club operations - helping to maintain presentation, cleanliness and member experience.
Representing the Apex Gyms brand with energy, professionalism and enthusiasm.

Key Requirements

We are specifically looking for someone with proven sales ability and confidence in a target-driven environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

Previous sales experience with measurable targets/KPIs.
Strong closing skills and confidence speaking to people in person and over the phone.
A proactive, resilient and self-motivated mindset.
A competitive nature and genuine motivation to earn commission.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Fitness industry sales experience is highly desirable, but strong sales performers from other industries will also be considered.

This role is not suited to someone looking for a purely customer service or reception-based position.
