You’ll be a highly organised and experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy, varied office environment.

You’ll be detail oriented, reliable and able to apply yourself to a wide range of tasks, playing a key role in the smooth running of a long-established local business. Working in a team will come naturally, as will taking the initiative to get things done on your own.

This role would suit someone who enjoys administration, customer service, property, people and variety. No two days are quite the same, so being organised, positive and able to prioritise is important.

Prime Choice is a long-established, independent estate and letting agency based in Rushden, with almost 35 years’ experience supporting landlords, tenants, sellers, buyers and the local community.

Our Rushden office is also an agency for Yorkshire Building Society, meaning the role includes both estate and letting agency responsibilities, as well as customer-facing financial services administration.

We are a professional, friendly and experienced team, looking for someone who can contribute to the efficient running of the office and help maintain the high standards our customers and clients expect.

Role

You’ll be responsible for supporting the efficient functioning of the office through a range of administrative tasks, including correspondence, diary management, customer enquiries, property administration, maintaining office systems, and following processes and procedures.

In addition, you’ll be expected to provide great customer service to existing and prospective customers across both the Prime Choice estate and letting agency business and the Yorkshire Building Society agency.

This is a varied role with responsibility, structure and the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of property, lettings, sales, office administration and customer service.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

Handling incoming emails and telephone queries.
Dealing with correspondence and producing standard letters.
Scheduling meetings, appointments, viewings and valuations.
Meeting and greeting customers.
Supporting customers using the Yorkshire Building Society agency service.
Assisting with estate agency and lettings administration.
Supporting landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers and applicants with general enquiries.
Sending and processing quotes/invoices.
Entering details on office systems, CRM systems and relevant customer records.
Keeping records up to date.
Helping ensure office processes and procedures are followed correctly.
Supporting the team with property paperwork and administration.
Assisting with supplier queries, office operations and general office supplies, including stationery, printing and facilities.
Managing your workload and ensuring deadlines are met.
Providing a professional, friendly and helpful service to customers and colleagues.

Experience

Previous experience of working in an office environment is essential.
Previous customer service experience is essential.
Experience in estate agency, lettings, property management, financial services or a regulated environment would be desirable, but is not essential.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software.
Experience of working with a CRM system would be desirable.
Experience in establishing and following processes and procedures.
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent preferred.

Hours

Full-time role based at our Rushden office.

The role includes two Saturdays per month. Typically, one Saturday will form part of a six-day working week, and one Saturday will be worked with a weekday given back as a day in lieu.

This gives a clear and predictable working pattern while also supporting the needs of a busy customer-facing office.

Salary

£26,000 per annum.
