Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Cafe Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent service to our customers, preparing a variety of food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction, with previous experience in a café or similar setting preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the hospitality industry while working in a friendly and dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, and other light snacks.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
Handle cash transactions using the till system, ensuring correct change is given.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards.
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold food safety standards at all times.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a barista or in serving roles within cafés or hospitality environments is desirable.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards customers.
Organised with good attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
