Full job description

Overview
Do you have a passion for gardening! Do you have a passion for gardening! We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Maintenance Operative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your skills in horticulture and landscape maintenance.

Duties

Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilising to keep turf healthy and attractive
Use hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and pruning shears for landscape upkeep
Maintain shrubbery, trees, and flower beds through pruning, trimming, planting, and weeding
Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues related to pests or disease and take appropriate action

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years garden maintenance experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care or gardening
Ability to operate various landscaping equipment and hand tools safely
Strong understanding of landscaping techniques including tree care, trimming, mowing.
Good physical fitness with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
A full clean UK Driving Licence (manual preferred)
Level 2 in Horticulture (desirable)
PA1/PA6 Qualifications (desirable)
