Hours: 40hrs per week (Monday to Thursday 4.00pm - 2.00am)

About The Role
KEY RESONSIBILITIES

Gain operational knowledge and be proficient in operation of the wet side area. This includes understanding all relevant systems, controls, and procedures associated with the wet side area to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to continuously improve wet side operations and support troubleshooting efforts when required.

Carry out mould changes on brick and paving production equipment in accordance with company procedures, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and minimising downtime. Accurately set up, secure, and align moulds to guarantee product quality and consistency. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve any issues during mould changeover, and ensure tools and parts are cleaned and stored properly after each change.

Address faults as they arise, escalate significant issues to the appropriate personnel, and follow all safety and environmental protocols associated with plant operations.

Perform regular cleaning of equipment and machinery to maintain optimal performance and prevent build-up of dust, debris, or product residue.

Operate forklifts as required, provided the appropriate license is held.

Ensure that workplace cleanliness is maintained and adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols. Take personal responsibility for your own well-being and promptly report any concerns as required by company policy.

Proactively seek and suggest ideas for improvement—whether related to health and safety, business processes, or cost-saving measures—and report them as a ‘Good Catch’.
- Any other duties as required by management that are within your capability. (You will also be required to perform Grade 1 and 2 tasks, such as quality control, strapping, and wrapping, operation of KBH machine and dry side, whenever needed).

Required Criteria

Be willing to undertake training and work flexibly as needed.
- Exhibit good communication skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude towards suggesting improvements.
- Follow instructions and always adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Possess or gain a thorough understanding of the machinery used, striving to know the intricacies of each machine and operate efficiently to maximise productivity, and minimise waste and downtime.
- Show willingness to learn new tasks and operate machinery with guidance.
- Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of the role to ensure product excellence first time.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
