Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes in a kitchen environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents, ensure food safety standards are met, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers. A strong background in food preparation, meal creation, and kitchen operations is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all stages of food handling
Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing as required
Organise and manage daily kitchen operations efficiently
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during meal service
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food storage and sanitation procedures

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
Experience with meal preparation for large groups or events is advantageous
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Previous experience serving customers or working in a hospitality environment is desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
