Full job description

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and reliable *MALE* cleaner to join our team and help maintain high standards throughout our busy fitness facility. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and understands the importance of creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for members and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to follow correct cleaning methods, products and equipment for different surfaces and materials
Cleaning and sanitising workout mats and high-touch surfaces
Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
Cleaning changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities
Cleaning mirrors, glass and reception areas
Emptying bins and restocking supplies
Carrying out scheduled deep-cleaning tasks
Reporting maintenance, hygiene or health and safety concerns
Ensuring all areas remain clean, presentable and safe throughout the day
Supporting the wider team and undertaking duties as reasonably required to maintain the cleanliness, presentation and smooth operation of the facility

Requirements:

Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate. We value a positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn.
Full training will be provided to support your success in the role.
Experience cleaning gyms, leisure facilities, offices, healthcare settings or similar commercial environments preferred
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Good understanding of cleaning products and safe working practices
Right to work in the UK

Location: Edmonton, North London

Hours Available: Morning Shift: 7:30am – 1:00pm or Evening Shift: 4:30pm – 10:30pm

Days: Monday-Friday: Morning and evening shifts. Saturday: Morning shift only.

Part-time and full-time opportunities available.

*Probationary Period: This role is subject to a three-month probationary period and satisfactory references.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
