Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a nurturing environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills while making a positive impact on children's development. A recognised childcare qualification and nursery experience are essential, along with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies
Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that promotes positive behaviour and social skills
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily schedules and special events
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and any concerns
Lead by example in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and professionalism within the nursery setting
Support the induction and mentoring of new staff members, demonstrating leadership qualities
Assist with administrative tasks related to childcare management as required
Drive company policies forward by implementing best practices in early childhood education

Experience

Proven nursery experience within a similar setting is essential
Strong background in early childhood education or childcare management
Demonstrable leadership and management skills, including team supervision and organisation
Experience working directly with children, understanding their developmental needs
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
