Full job description

About the Role

Are you highly organised, detail-focused and confident dealing with customers? We are looking for a professional and proactive Receptionist & Order Processing Administrator to be the welcoming first point of contact for our business while also supporting the smooth and accurate processing of customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Customer Care:

·Meet and greet: Welcome visitors, clients and colleagues warmly, ensuring a professional and positive first impression.
Call management: Answer, screen and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
·Post and couriers: Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and courier collections.
Facilities support: Assist with general office duties, including ordering stationery and sundry items and keeping the reception area tidy and presentable.

Order Processing & Administration:

Order management: Accurately process customer orders using Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
Customer communication: Provide customers with timely updates on order progress and respond to delivery, availability and stock queries.
Internal liaison: Work closely with Sales, Warehouse and Logistics teams to support accurate dispatch and timely order fulfilment.

Requirements & Skills

Experience: Previous experience in a reception, customer service or administrative role; order processing experience would be an advantage.
Systems skills: Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Familiarity with order processing systems is a must.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
Organisation: Strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks and confidence managing a varied workload.

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
