Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas, using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, emptying bins, and ensuring all areas are presentable.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed.
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
Adhere to scheduling requirements to ensure all designated areas are cleaned within specified timeframes.
Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with different cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A positive attitude and reliability are essential qualities for success in this role.
