Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong clerical skills and a keen eye for detail to support our daily operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office functioning and effective communication across departments. Prior office experience and proficiency with relevant software are essential for this position.

Duties

Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing them appropriately
Organising and maintaining physical and digital files to ensure easy retrieval of information
Performing data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars
Preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents as required
Supporting the team with administrative projects and general office duties
Handling mail distribution and managing office supplies inventory
Assisting with invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks

Qualifications

Proven office experience or administrative experience in a professional environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
Experience with QuickBooks is desirable but not essential; training can be provided
Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy
Good data entry skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills with polite phone etiquette
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Organised approach to managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
