Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Care Supervisor to oversee and coordinate care services within our care home environment. The successful candidate will lead a team of care staff, ensure the delivery of high-quality senior care, and maintain excellent communication with clients and their families. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your leadership skills in a rewarding setting, supporting vulnerable adults to live independently with dignity. A valid driving licence is essential for this position, as it involves travelling between locations.

Duties

Supervise and support care staff to deliver personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
Conduct regular visits to clients’ homes to assess care quality and address any concerns
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Organise and oversee staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage at all time.
Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive working environment
Maintain accurate documentation of care activities, incidents, and client progress using IT systems
Communicate effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to coordinate care services
Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new staff members
Monitor medication administration and support clients with daily activities as required

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a senior care setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs
Competent IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
Valid driving licence with experience in driving within a professional context is essential
Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to care environments is desirable
