Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting our commitment to prompt and efficient service.

Duties

Safely operate medium size van to deliver goods across designated routes
Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit
Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines
Verify delivery details
Maintain accurate records of deliveries
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
Uphold safety standards and adhere to traffic regulations at all times
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns professionally during deliveries

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience
Valid driving licence suitable for operating flatbed vehicles and commercial lorries
Strong knowledge of local roads and routes within the area
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical fitness to handle loading, unloading, and manoeuvring goods
A clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks and driving assessments

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
