About Cellar Drinks Company

Named in the Wales Fast Growth 50, we are a fiercely independent drinks wholesaler with ambitious plans for continued expansion across South and Mid Wales. Working in partnership with all major brewers and drinks manufacturers, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding service to pubs, bars, restaurants, and hospitality venues throughout the region.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our friendly distribution team.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse duties with multi-drop deliveries across South and Mid Wales. You will play a key part in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately, safely, and on time while delivering excellent customer service at every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Pick and accurately check customer orders.
Load and unload vehicles safely by hand and, where authorised, using a forklift truck.
Deliver products to customers across South and Mid Wales efficiently and professionally.
Ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timescales.
Drive safely and comply with all road traffic laws and company procedures.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
Follow planned delivery routes while adapting to operational requirements when necessary.
Communicate effectively with management regarding delivery updates, delays, or issues.
Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or obstacles that may affect safe and timely deliveries.
Support warehouse operations and maintain high standards of housekeeping and health and safety.

What We're Looking ForEssential Skills & Experience

Full, clean UK driving licence.
No driving disqualifications within the last three years.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible attitude and willingness to undertake both warehouse and delivery duties.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
Valid forklift truck licence.
Good knowledge of South and Mid Wales.
