The School of Visual and Performing Arts, Digital Skills, and Foundation Learning is a vibrant and inclusive department where staff are committed to supporting all students to thrive. Performing and Production Arts courses support students to achieve highly, with excellent destination outcomes to drama schools, conservatoires, and prestigious universities. Our Foundation Learning courses focus on creativity, offering pathways in Performing Arts or Art, Design, and Media. We also offer supported internships with two host businesses, helping interns develop essential skills and progress into employment. All courses place a strong emphasis on developing employability skills.

We are seeking a Curriculum Leader for our Performing and Production Arts and Creative Foundation Learning courses. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and awarding body requirements, along with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards. As an excellent leader and manager, they will demonstrate strong organisational and team leadership skills, inspiring colleagues and driving continuous improvement across the curriculum. They will also be able to communicate effectively with students, families, colleagues, awarding organisations, and other stakeholders.

Job Title: Curriculum Leader: Performing and Production Arts

Salary: Job Family Group 2, £46,341 - £52,172 (SCP36-40) per annum, pro rata depending on qualifications and experience

Hours: 37 hours per week, 10.FTE, Permanent
