Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated NVQ Assessor specializing in Level 3 Healthcare Support to join our vibrant training team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding aspiring healthcare professionals through their qualification journey, ensuring they develop the essential skills and knowledge required for excellence in healthcare support roles. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire learners to achieve their full potential, contributing to the future of compassionate healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging assessments and training sessions aligned with Level 3 Healthcare Support standards, ensuring learners meet all qualification requirements.
Provide constructive feedback and tailored support to help learners progress confidently through their assessments.
Plan and organise assessment schedules, maintaining accurate records of learner progress and achievement.
Conduct site visits and observations in healthcare settings to evaluate practical competence and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintain open, clear communication with learners, employers, and colleagues to facilitate a smooth assessment process.
Keep up-to-date with current healthcare practices, NVQ standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
Support learners in preparing for final assessments by guiding them through portfolio development and review processes.

Skills

Hold the qualifications needed to carry out assessment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple assessments efficiently while maintaining meticulous records.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to clearly articulate assessment criteria and provide comprehensive feedback.
Knowledge of IT systems used for tracking learner progress, recording assessments, and managing documentation.
Teaching experience or a background in education enhances your ability to deliver impactful training sessions.
