Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Delivery Van Driver to join our team, focusing exclusively on deliveries to locker boxes and parcelshops. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the vital link between our company and our customers, ensuring timely, safe, and professional delivery services. As a Delivery Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting parcels efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with our team and customers. Your dedication will help us provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships with our clients.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vans to transport parcels directly to designated lockERs and parcelshops within your assigned route
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, adhering to company policies and safety regulations
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to maintain optimal safety standards
Communicate clearly with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes
Assist with loading and unloading parcels, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
Maintain detailed delivery logs, route documentation, and any incident reports as required
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to promote safe driving practices at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record(MAX 6 POINTS ALLOWED)
NO CONVICTIONS ON DBS
Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
Ability to lift heavy parcels safely and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
Knowledge of local routes, traffic regulations, and safety procedures
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail in previous roles
