Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Live-In Carer to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their private residence. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well-being of clients, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a supportive and professional setting.

Responsibilities

Provide personalised care according to individual care plans, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support clients with daily routines, including meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
Monitor and report on clients’ health status, liaising with healthcare professionals as needed.
Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, Office staff and team members to ensure consistent and effective care delivery.
Assist with medication management as per prescribed instructions.
Ensure the safety of clients by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, following organisational policies.
Support clients’ emotional well-being through empathetic communication and companionship.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is preferred.
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation needs.
Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement personalised care routines effectively.
Good understanding of IT systems used for documentation and communication purposes.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals.
Flexibility to work full-time hours in a live-in capacity, working on a rota basis of 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Can be flexible for client and carer requirements. This role is ideal for caring individuals committed to providing compassionate support within a professional setting, ensuring the dignity and comfort of those they assist.

Pay: £134.41-£160.41 per day
